2. Hosting
The site is hosted by Clever Cloud, whose data centres are located in France (Paris).
3. Purpose of the service
Kovaluna provides personalised astrological readings: birth chart and horoscopes (day, week, month, year), cast from the birth details provided by the user. Access to readings requires creating an account, free of charge. Each account can hold up to five astro profiles (the holder's and those of loved ones).
4. Nature of the content
Astrology is offered for entertainment and introspection. Readings do not in any way constitute medical, psychological, financial, legal or professional advice, and cannot replace the opinion of a qualified practitioner. The user remains solely responsible for their decisions.
Readings are written with the assistance of automated technology, from astronomical calculations performed for each request.
5. User account
The user undertakes to provide accurate information when registering and to keep their credentials confidential. Any activity carried out from their account is deemed to be performed by them. When registering a third party's astro profile, the user warrants that they have that person's consent (or parental authority for a minor) to provide their birth details. The user may request the deletion of their account at any time via the contact form.
6. Personal data
The data collected (identity, email address, birth details) is used exclusively to provide the service: casting readings, managing the account and sending service-related emails. It is never sold to third parties.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the user has the right to access, rectify, object to and delete their data, which they may exercise via the contact form. Data is kept as long as the account is active, then deleted.
7. Cookies
The site uses a single technical session cookie, strictly necessary for the user account to work. No advertising or tracking cookie is set.
8. Intellectual property
All elements of the site (texts, readings, brand, visual identity) are protected by intellectual property law. Readings delivered to the user are intended for their personal use; any reproduction or distribution for commercial purposes without authorisation is prohibited.
9. Liability
The publisher strives to ensure the availability and accuracy of the service, without being able to guarantee them absolutely. It cannot be held liable for temporary interruptions, calculation or interpretation errors, or decisions taken by the user on the basis of the readings (see article 4).
10. Changes to these terms
The publisher may amend these terms at any time. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with its effective date.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nanterre.
12. Language
These Terms of Service are a courtesy translation. Only the French version is legally binding: in the event of any discrepancy, the French version shall prevail.
